On an urban Charlotte lot the hard part is rarely the design. It is getting material and machines into the back yard. Narrow side yards, shared drives, fences and neighbours at close range often mean hand-carrying base stone and pavers. That takes hours, and we price it at the estimate instead of discovering it on day one.
Small footprints demand better detail
When the whole space is visible at once there is nowhere for a sloppy edge or an inconsistent joint to hide. Small urban work is finish work, and we build it to that standard.
We come in as a specialist, not a neighbour
Our home base is Troutman, not Charlotte. We do hardscape, concrete, drainage and finishing in-house with no subcontractors, and if a Charlotte project is better served by someone based in the city, we will say so.

Most paver patios we build land between $14 and $24 per square foot installed, so a 300-square-foot patio (a grill area and a table for six) usually runs $4,200 to $7,200. Retaining walls price by exposed face, generally $28 to $45 per square foot. Where a job falls in that spread comes down to the paver you choose, how much dirt has to move, whether a machine can reach the back yard, and what the water is already doing.
